Building, Zoning, Flood Plain and Land Use
You may work with Construction Permits, Zoning Permits, Flood Plain, and Land Use applications. Functions include a public inquiry function to search by applications by address, the ability to submit new applications, add supporting documentation to existing applications, pay balances and request inspections.
Apply for Construction PermitsA permit is required when a party wishes to construct or modify buildings on a property, install septic tank, or request road opening permit. Detailed plans must accompany the application.

Department of Code Enforcement/Bureau of Housing Inspections
The following applications are now available online from the Department of Code Enforcement and Bureau of Housing Inspections.
Apply for a Property InspectionApply for a Certificate of Continued Occupancy inspection. This inspection is required when residential property is sold or for changes in tenancy for residential rental properties. In addition, all new Businesses or Businesses that have changed location are required to apply for a Certificate of Continued Occupancy.
Fees for the inspection depend on the type of certificate requested and type of property being inspected. All Fees must be paid in full before an inspection will be scheduled.
Registration of Vacant/Abandoned and Foreclosed PropertyApplicants will need to submit the information requested in this form along with the Registration Fee in order to have the Registration Application processed. Incomplete forms will not be processed and may result in a code violation if you fail to register the property. Initial Registration Fee $1000; First Renewal Fee $2000; Subsequent Renewal Fee $3000.
Please note that any mortgagee who holds a mortgage on any real properties located within the municipality shall register.
Department of Engineering
You may work with applications Engineering permits including Road Opening and Sewage permits.
Citizen Services Bureau
You may report conditions such as property complaints, zoning complaints, and rental property conditions. You may submit requests for public records.
Department of Health
You may apply for a Department of Health issued license/permit including food businesses, vending machines, beauty salon, barbershop, nail salons, junk yards, transfer stations, or marriage/civil union licenses. What would you like to do?
Apply for or review your Health Business LicenseApply for, pay fees or review your Health Business Licenses - including licenses/permits for Food businesses, Vending Machines, Beauty Salons, Barber Shops, Nail Salons, Junk Yards and/or Transfer Stations.
Apply for a Marriage or Civil Union LicenseFor your convenience, you may complete a marriage or re-marriage application form online. You may also get an application form at our office. If printing the form, do not sign the marriage application form before coming into our office. You must sign the application, under oath, in the presence of the issuing authority.

You may apply for Licenses and Permits such as business licenses, pet licenses, rental registrations and other permits. What would you like to do?
Apply for or review your Occupational Business LicenseApply for, pay fees and/or renew your Occupational Business License. The City requires occupational business licenses for individuals conducting business within the city limits. Examples are Solicitors, Peddlers, Taxicab Drivers and Flea Market Vendors.
Apply for, renew, or check the status of your Pet LicenseThe City of MyTown requires that all dogs and cats within the city limits be licensed. You may apply for a one or three-year license. You will be required to provide a copy of the rabies vaccination for your pet as well as proof if the pet has been spayed or neutered.
Apply for a Parking PermitApply for a parking permit in city-owned parking lots and parking decks. Off-street parking provides convenient parking in a protected location. Nearly three-quarters of all off-street spaces are located in decks. The remainder are in parking lots. There are now more than 4,200 off-street parking spaces.
